Brief History
Brother Frank and Sister Alice Georgeann (Leggett) Haley first step off the train in Provencal, La in 1916 (Tenney, 2002).

“If the hundreds of faithful saints, past and present, of Provencal Pentecostal Church could (have) given their names and experiences in God, if Provencal and Trudeaux Creeks could tell us names of those baptized in Jesus Name, if the old altar could tell of the burdens of sin and despair left there, if the walls of all three church buildings could tell of the miracles and power of God and His word, space would not allow a written account of all the accomplishments and achievements by God in Provencal…(Tenney, 2002).”
